Built in Java and with VBSF in its core, TEAM Sigma is a
fully object oriented application that is platform and database independent.
At the heart of the suite is a new relational database capable of holding a wide range of information
such as billing, degree data, production data and half-hourly data. As a
result of its use of VBSF, the suite allows the end user the flexibility
of choosing the underlying database. Oracle, MySQL, MSSQL, Sybase, Access 2000,
as well as most other relational databases, are fully supported.
